"Machin, as Golyadkin's double, played the role with great relish, switching between Machiavellian upstart and innocent, loyal friend with ease.
The direction, by Kate McGregor was excellent..
The Double is an entertaining, energetic adaptation that captures the spirit of Dostoyevsky's novella, and one that is definitely worth seeing."

Vera Chok
Vera has just played Mrs Watson in the BBC Talent Boost production, "Ferriby Towers", due to be screened later this year on BBC2. She has also played the lead role, Nana, in the short film "Trains".
She recently finished playing Fanny and Lucy in the hilarious and highly acclaimed "Mansfield Park & Ride" in Ipswich, which sold out for eight weeks and was named as one of the Top 10 Christmas Shows by The Guardian.
"I particularly admired Vera Chok who played the Beggar that morphed into Lucy Bonnet and Fanny Fitz-Tightly and accompanied the songs with her polished piano accompaniment." - Wilfred Arasaratnam (BBC Suffolk)
"Mansfield Park & Ride made my face ache from laughing; a real Christmas cracker."- Lynne Mortimer (East Anglian Times)
"I loved every minute." Hugh Homan (The Stage)
"There is quite simply no weak link in McGregor's cast, who all acquit themselves splendidly. Machin's riotously subversive 'Drop Dead Fred'-esque performance may linger in the memory longest, but in truth this is an ensemble triumph" - Dominic di Nezza (Remotegoat)
